Nominations are being accepted by the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce for small-business achievement awards to be given in October.

The award program recognizes outstanding small businesses in Middle Georgia for their success and contributions to the community. Nominated companies will be evaluated on economic growth, innovation and community involvement.

Only nominations are needed at this time. Each nominee will be sent a letter and an application. Winners will be announced at the Small Business Achievement Awards Luncheon Oct. 11.
