Bibb County deputies responded to a call Monday evening of a person shot at a residence on Westover Drive, according to a sheriffs report.
When deputies arrived at 9:17 p.m., they found the victim, Jeremy Hill, 18, lying on the floor with a bullet wound to his foot. Hill told deputies someone kicked in his door and shot him, but deputies found no damage to the door, according to the report.
Investigators heard a 911 call in which the caller identified himself as Hills brother, Otis. Otis Hill said his brother was playing with the gun and shot himself in the foot.
Jeremy Hill was taken to The Medical Center of Central Georgia.
