Shots fired at Macon residence Saturday

Macon police are investigating shots fired at a residence in the 4200 block of Worsham Avenue early Saturday morning, according to a police report.

The victim, Gary Higgins, told officers he was in the bathroom at about 3 a.m. when he heard a loud noise, the report stated. When he went outside to investigate, his neighbor told him he heard five or six shots and then saw a vehicle speed away.

Investigators found two bullet holes in the house and found three spent .22-caliber shell casings.
