2 Macon businesses cited for not having liquor licenses

Published: August 27, 2012

Macon police have cited two businesses for not being compliant with having up-to-date alcohol licenses, according to a police news release.

Police checked 17 businesses Friday for business and alcohol licenses. Officers found that Club Envy, 420 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., and Alexander Ballroom, 3670 Eisenhower Parkway, weren’t in compliance. They both were cited for sale of alcohol without a city alcohol license.

Both establishments have a grace period to get new alcohol licenses.
