A Houston County grand jury has indicted two teenagers on charges of burglary and aggravated cruelty to animals for killing a goat. Tanner Ritnour, 17, of Bonaire, and William Dakota Dixon, 18, of Perry, are accused of unlawfully entering a Mossy Creek Middle School building with intent to commit a theft and taking a goat raised by middle school student for a farm-related project, according to the indictment returned Dec. 4 by the grand jury. Ritnour and Dixon “did knowingly and maliciously” cause the death of the pet goat by running over it with a motor vehicle during the Aug. 14 incident, the indictment stated.
