Bibb County sheriff’s investigators are looking into an armed robbery that took place at the Red Roof Inn, 3950 River Place Drive, early Sunday morning, according to a sheriff’s news release.

According to the news release, the man entered the front lobby of the motel with one of his hands on his waistband, demanding cash from the register. The man then fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 5-foot-10 in height, in his 20s, with a medium build and a thin mustache. He was wearing an orange shirt.
