The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that took place Sunday morning at the X-Mart, 2025 Emery Highway, according to a sheriff’s news release.

According to the release, a man with a gun entered the store at 6:22 a.m. and demanded money from the clerk. The man then fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The gunman is described as a white male, about 5-foot-7 to 5-8 inches tall, weighing 170 to 180 pounds. He was wearing black clothing, including a black mask and gloves.
