Two Houston County teens were arrested Friday after police say they drove a van over a goat and killed it.
William Dakota Dixon, 19, of Perry, and Tanner Dylan Ritnour, 17, of Bonaire, went to Mossy Creek Middle School between 3 and 4 a.m. Tuesday and released a goat from its pen, Perry police Capt. Heath Dykes said.
They let the goat out and chased it around for a while and then got into the van and ran the goat over and killed it -- on purpose, Dykes said.
The goat belonged to a girl in the 4-H program, Dykes said.
Both teens were charged with aggravated cruelty to animals and burglary. They remained in the Houston County jail Friday night.
