Plans for an office at 3931 Ridge Ave. will be reviewed Monday by the Macon-Bibb County Planning & Zoning Commission.
A conditional-use permit to allow a professional office at the site came up at the boards July 9 meeting, but was deferred until Monday to allow the applicant time to address issues raised by commissioners.
Marble Masters is the applicant, but it plans to lease the building as a professional office.
The design center will not occupy the building, the commissions staff report states.
The size of the building has been reduced to 4,350 square feet from 6,675 square fee, and the number of parking spaces has been decreased to 22 from 35 spaces, according to the commissions staff report. Also, the parking area at the front of the building along Forest Hill Road has been eliminated.
In addition, the layout of the building has changed to match the adjacent building at 3951 Ridge Ave.
The 2035 Future Land Use Map recommends office use for this property, the staff report states.
The meeting begins at 1:30 p.m. in the 10th floor conference room at Willie C. Hill City Hall Annex, 682 Cherry St.
