ATHENS - The Georgia men's basketball schedule is finally released, along with the full SEC slate, and the Bulldogs appear to have caught at least one break:
They only have to face defending national champion Kentucky once, and it's at home. Although some would argue that not getting to go to Rupp Arena is a negative.
The SEC schedule was revamped this year with the addition of Texas A&M and Missouri. Once again there will be no divisions, and each team will have one permanent twice-a-year opponent, along with a rotation over the next three years of four teams they play twice.
Georgia will play five teams twice: South Carolina (the permanent opponent), Texas A&M, Florida, Tennessee and Alabama.
