WARNER ROBINS -- An overnight lane closure is expected to continue on Interstate 75 southbound through Saturday in Houston and Dooly counties, the Georgia Department of Transportation announced.

Weather permitting, the lane closure will be in place from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. between Mile Marker 117 at Exit 117 for Pinehurst-Hawkinsville Road and Mile Marker 127 at Exit 127 for Ga. 26, a state DOT news release stated.

Grading work around spillways and drainage structures requires the lane closure, the release stated.

Motorists can expect delays in the area during the lane closure, the release stated.
