Macon Regional CrimeStoppers reached a milestone Thursday, awarding $500,000 in rewards for tips in 3,497 cases.
CrimeStoppers Board Chairman Warren Selby announced the accomplishment Thursday afternoon.
CrimeStoppers was founded in 2000 and provides cash rewards in exchange for anonymous tips pertaining to crimes in Bibb County and surrounding counties.
