Crawford County deputies found two people fatally shot Tuesday afternoon in the 200 block of Pine Forest Drive in Musella.

Authorities were called at 2:52 p.m. about a person shot, Crawford County Sheriff Lewis Walker said.

When deputies arrived, they found a man and woman dead. Authorities haven’t released their names, pending notification of next of kin, Walker said.

Walker said one of the people lived at the home. He declined comment regarding details of the wounds.

Although the incident was initially reported as an apparent murder-suicide, deputies still are investigating the circumstances of the shooting, he said.
