He caught 32 passes for 606 yards and six touchdowns as a junior. Smith committed to Troy in July after receiving offers from Charlotte, Colorado State, Georgia State, Middle Tennessee and Western Kentucky.

Westside wide receiver Shannon Smith has verbally committed to Troy.
The rising senior announced his decision Friday on Twitter.
Smith (6-foot-2, 195 pounds) picked the Trojans over offers from Charlotte, Colorado State, Georgia State, Middle Tennessee State and Western Kentucky.
Smith, who made the All-Bibb County team as a junior, also had interest from Vanderbilt.
