Warner Robins police investigating armed robbery at Waffle House

Warner Robins police are investigating an armed robbery late Thursday at a Waffle House on Watson Boulevard.

Shortly before 11 p.m., a man approached the counter of the Waffle House at 12021 Watson Blvd., handed the cashier a note demanding money and showed a pistol, according to a police news release.

The man fled in a silver vehicle with an undisclosed sum, the release states. No injuries were reported.

The man was described as white, about 6 feet tall and heavy in build.
