A 32-year-old Macon man was sentenced Thursday to 25 years in prison in connection with a 2010 burglary spree in Bibb Countys Lake Wildwood community.
Cecil Kelsey Jr., pleaded guilty to racketeering and a probation violation during a hearing in Bibb County Superior Court, according to the Bibb County District Attorneys Office.
Kelsey, 40-year-old Sharon Watson and 40-year-old Shawndre Taylor were indicted in May 2011 on charges they violated the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, according to court records.
Taylor pleaded guilty to racketeering in December and was sentenced to four years in prison followed by six years on probation, according to the district attorneys office.
The case against Watson is pending.
Between January and June 2010, 73 burglaries were reported in the Lake Wildwood neighborhood.
