Houston County girls finish in top 5 for Miss Georgia’s Outstanding Teen

Two young women from Houston County finished in the top five in the Miss Georgia’s Outstanding Teen pageant Saturday night in Columbus.

Miss Atlanta Outstanding Teen Taylor Peterson of Kathleen was named third runner-up, and Miss Warner Robins Outstanding Teen Carmen Foskey of Warner Robins was named fourth runner-up, according to the Miss Georgia website.

Peterson also was named a preliminary winner in talent. Preliminaries took place Wednesday through Friday.

In addition, Miss Warner Robins Courtney Walker of Bonaire, was named a preliminary winner in swimsuit in the Miss Georgia pageant.

Charlene Bibeau of Warner Robins also competed as Miss Georgia Southern University.
