Perry man dies in Warner Robins crash

WARNER ROBINS — A Perry man died Friday when the 1997 Ford Taurus he was driving left the roadway and struck a utility pole, police said.

Michael Sutton, 44, was taken to Houston Medical Center where he was pronounced dead by medical staff, a Warner Robins police news release stated.

Sutton was traveling westbound on Russell Parkway. The 7:57 a.m. crash initially closed down all westbound lanes of Russell Parkway at its intersection with Booth Road.

The cause of the single-vehicle crash remains under investigation, the release stated.
