WARNER ROBINS -- Mayor Chuck Shaheen has announced a news conference for Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at City Hall, according to a media release faxed at about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

’’This will be a time for the press to ask questions on events of the city,” the release stated. “Each reporter will be given the same amount of time for questions.”

It will be the first time in Shaheen’s tenure that he has called a news conference that does not specify a topic.
