Warner Robins man seriously injured in all-terrain vehicle crash

WARNER ROBINS -- A Warner Robins man was seriously injured in an all-terrain vehicle accident Saturday.

The driver, Joe Elam, 42, is listed in serious condition at The Medical Center of Central Georgia, according to a Warner Robins Police Department release.

Officers were called to the scene at 1:43 p.m. According to the release, Elam was riding a 2012 Honda Rancher on the sidewalk along Moody Road when he hit a guard rail post and flipped several times. He was thrown off the vehicle.

Jimmy Lester, 31, was following on a dirt bike but was not injured, the release stated.
