This interactive map shows areas of high noise and crash risks near Robins Air Force Base, as well as property purchases made by the Central Georgia Joint Development Authority in those areas, which are referred to as encroachment. Officials say having too many people in those areas could threaten the base's future ability to handle missions.
Click on a green dot to reveal a property's address, sale date and sale price. Click on a shaded area to discover what noise zone it's in. Darker shades of red indicate higher noise levels. A set of rectangles shown in dark outlines show the crash zones, known as accident prevention zones.
You can zoom in and then click "Satellite" in the top-right corner to see actual houses, rather than streets.
