Tonight marks the two-hour season finale of "Touch" (Fox, 8 p.m.), which has been renewed for next season.
To my knowledge, it's the final network regular season finale of this year's fall and winter shows.
So far, even with Tim Kring running things, the show has managed to keep an interesting focus while opening to a larger storyline as to what these mysterious corporate folks want Jake for. My guess is that the door will be left open to explore that in greater detail in Season 2, but I could be wrong.
It's worrisome, because that's exactly what happened with Kring's "Heroes." The first season told about a group of diverse people with powers. But subsequent seasons had all sorts of conspiracies and "twists" that made the show run off the rails.
So Kring's track record with conspiracies and people with supernatural powers is a bit sketchy. But so far, I don't really have any complaints about "Touch."
