WR police charge man with murder in shooting death of Bonaire woman

Warner Robins police charged a man with felony murder in connection to the shooting death of a 27-year-old Bonaire woman, according to a news release.

According to the release, police arrested Russell Holt, 28, of Warner Robins and charged him with felony murder (family violence) and aggravated assault early Sunday morning in the shooting death of Jessica Wolfe, 27, of Bonaire, who worked as a legal secretary in the theft/fraud unit of the Houston County District Attorney’s Office, according to the office’s web site.

Police were called to the 100 block of Ledford Way in reference to a female not breathing, the news release stated. When officers arrived, they found Wolfe inside the residence with a gunshot wound to the upper torso. She was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy will be performed Monday.

Holt, a probation officer for the Georgia Department of Corrections, was taken to the Houston County jail. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Warner Robins Police at (478) 929-6911 or text the tip to CRIMES (274637) with the keyword WRPD.
