A 4-year-old Macon boy was bitten by three dogs Tuesday afternoon at his family’s home in the 4500 block of Lakewood Avenue, according to Macon police.
Pit bulls bit the boy on his face, shoulder and leg, according to a police report released Wednesday.
The dogs ran down the driveway toward an officer dispatched to the house. The officer fired one shot but didn’t strike any of the dogs. The dogs ran behind the house and were later removed by Macon-Bibb Animal Control, according to the report.
Information about the boy’s injuries and medical condition was not available Wednesday.
