Advance voting for Georgias March 6 presidential preference primary is under way.
Voters in Houston, Peach and Monroe counties also can vote for special purpose sales tax proposals in those counties.
In Bibb County, voters may vote in advance at the Board of Elections office, located at 2445 Pio Nono Ave. in Macon.
Houston County voters may vote in advance at the Board of Elections office in the Houston County Government Building, 801 Main St.reet#, Perry. In addition, starting Feb. 21, Houston voters also may cast ballots at the Houston County Annex Building, 200 Carl Vinson Parkway, Warner Robins, and Middle Georgia Technical College, 80 Cohen Walker Drive, Warner Robins.
Advance voting will include one Saturday, Feb. 25, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at each countys Board of Elections office. The last day to vote in advance is March 2.
Sample ballots will be located at the Board of Elections websites, www.co.bibb.ga.us/BOE/BOE.aspx for Bibb County, and www.houstoncountyga.com/residents/board-of-elections for Houston County.
Sample ballots for Bibb County also will be located at the Harveys supermarket on Shurling Drive, the Publix on Tom Hill Sr. Boulevard, and the Kroger stores on Tom Hill Sr. Boulevard, Pio Nono Avenue, North Avenue, Presidential Parkway and Zebulon Road and five Macon-Bibb County public libraries.
Advance voters will have to show one of the following six forms of photo ID: a Georgia drivers license, even if expired; any valid state or federal government-issued photo ID, including a free voter ID card issued by the county registrar or Department of Driver Services; a valid U.S. passport; a valid employee photo ID from any branch, department, agency or entity of the U.S. government, Georgia, or any county, municipality, board, authority, or other entity of Georgia; a valid U.S. military photo ID; or a valid tribal photo ID.
