Macon police arrested 25-year-old Mitchell Baggarly on charges of marijuana possession with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during a felony Wednesday night after an officer responded to 3102 Napier Ave. after a suspicious vehicle was reported in a parking lot.
The police report details that the officer asked Baggarly to step out of the vehicle and saw a black handgun and a clear plastic bag containing marijuana in the drivers seat.
According to the report, $480 worth of marijuana was in the car.
Both Baggarly and his passenger, Jonathan Slifflet, were taken into custody, but the passenger was later released when Baggarly was taken into custody for further investigation, according to the report.
