Perry police arrest two in drug bust

Perry police arrested two men Thursday morning in an undercover operation at 1513 State Ave. in Perry, in reference to the sale of illegal drugs, said Capt. Heath Dykes.

With the assistance of the Houston County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team, the search warrant resulted in more than a pound of marijuana being seized, along with cash.

Cornelius Quantrez King, 32, and Terrance Deon Joiner, 33, were both charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

Joiner also was charged with violation of probation.
