WARNER ROBINS -- State Rep. Willie Talton is back home after a brief hospital stay and expects to return to the Capitol soon.

Talton, a Warner Robins Republican, was admitted to Grady Hospital in Atlanta late last week with abdominal problems. Talton said it was related to scar tissue from a previous surgery.

Doctors at Grady considered surgery to correct the problem, but Talton said they were able to treat it. He was released from the hospital Sunday night. He said he should be fine, and doctors told him only to get some rest.

“Thank God for those who have been showing concern, and hopefully I will be back on the job next week,” Talton said.
