An alleged methamphetamine kingpin and 13 other people are accused of violating Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, according to the Jones County Sheriff’s Office.

Chadwick Nicholson, 35, of Crawford County, was arrested Wednesday at a store on Hartley Bridge Road in Bibb County, said Jones County Sheriff Butch Reece.

Reece characterized Nicholson as one of the largest methamphetamine dealers in Middle Georgia.

Authorities learned through a year-long investigation that Nicholson’s group distributed between 10 and 12 pounds of methamphetamine monthly in Bibb, Crawford, Houston, Jones, Monroe and Twiggs counties, Reece said.

Deputies from Bibb, Crawford and Jones counties coordinated with state and federal law enforcement to make the arrests, Reece said.
