Two 14-year-old girls authorities said were taken from their houses Wednesday night in Monroe and Lamar counties were headed back home Friday and their alleged abductors were awaiting extradition, according to the Lamar County Sheriff's Office.
Kirsten Kamradt, of Barnesville, and Amber Henry, of High Falls, were found safe late Thursday in Tennessee after a nationwide lookout was posted.
Joshua Paul Crowe, 19, of Barnesville, and Dustin Blake Elliott, 19, of Upson County were in custody in Tennessee and facing felony charges of interference with custody, said Ginger Story of the Lamar County Sheriff's Office.
Story said a combination of tips and evidence led to their discovery, but specific details were not immediately available.
Investigators had reason to believe the girls were in danger, according to the lookout.
The sheriff's offices in Lamar and Monroe counties worked with Barnesville Police, the FBI, U.S. Marshals and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to bring the girls home safely.
