Macon police responded Wednesday afternoon to a call from a 21-year-old woman who reported being shot at by a taxi driver.

The woman said the cab followed her very closely from the intersection of Zebulon Road and Forsyth Street. She ultimately slowed to allow the cab to pass, according to the report.

After continuing to follow her, the cab finally passed her, at which point she reported hearing a loud bang and seeing an arm withdrawn from the cab window. She told police she did not see a firearm.
