Macon police are investigating an armed robbery and aggravated assault that took place early Monday morning on Treadway Drive, according to a police report.

Police went to the hospital and spoke with the victim, Alonza Goolsby, who was stabbed multiple times by an unknown assailant, the report said.

The armed man confronted Goolsby and demanded his money. When Goolsby refused, the man stabbed him several times in the arm and stomach.
