A Musella woman fought to keep her purse Tuesday when a man approached her in the parking lot of Wal-Mart on Harrison Road.
Witnesses told Bibb County deputies that 54-year-old Rhonda Harris was walking to her vehicle when the man ran toward her and snatched her purse. She held onto the purse and was pulled to the ground until the man was able to get the purse away from her, according to a news release.
The black man was described as being about 5-foot-9, of medium build, in his mid-20s and wearing all-black clothing. He ran off after the incident.
Surveillance footage shows the man getting out of the passenger side of a gold, mid-sized Dodge Ram truck a few minutes before the episode.
Harris sustained minor injuries to her knee, according to the release.
