The Mercer mens basketball team fought back from a 10-point second-half deficit Wednesday night, but it wasn't enough to overcome Tulsa in a 68-62 Golden Hurricane win.
The loss dropped the Bears to 8-6 overall.
The Golden Hurricane led by 10 early in the first half and eventually led 34-27 at halftime. Tulsa then hit a 3-pointer to open the second half to lead by 10 again.
Jakob Gollon had 12 points to lead Mercer. He hit 5-of-10 from the floor and also had five rebounds and five assists. Junior Travis Smith came off the bench to score 11 points.
