Hawkinsville drivers can expect delays, as Georgia State Patrol troopers are helping reroute traffic around a Wednesday morning single-vehicle accident that damaged a utility pole.

The driver, whose name was not released, struck a utility pole at U.S. 341 and Commerce Street at about 7:40 a.m., said Sgt. Mike Maynard with the Georgia State Patrol.
