Regional to wrap up pool play

The Little League Southeastern Regional tournament will finish pool play Monday in Warner Robins.

Georgia takes on North Carolina at 7 p.m. to complete the day’s action. The day starts with Florida-South Carolina at 10 a.m., followed by Alabama-Tennessee at 1 p.m. and Virginia-West Virginia at 4 p.m.

In Pool B, Georgia is 2-0 while Alabama and North Carolina are 1-1 and Tennessee is 0-2. In Pool A, Florida is 2-0, while Virginia and West Virginia are 1-1 and South Carolina is 0-2.

Georgia defeated Tennessee 7-3 on Friday and beat Alabama 7-6 on Saturday. Jake Fromm has hit a key three-run home run in each game for Georgia.

After Monday’s games, the semifinals will be set. The consolation games will be played Tuesday, while the semifinals will be Wednesday, and the championship game will be Friday. The semifinals will be televised by ESPN2, and the championship game will be shown on ESPN.
