Belk holds fashion show for children

Middle Georgia children have a chance to model at all Belk stores and win prizes for their families.

Belk will host its annual KidFest in its stores Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. A children’s fashion show will feature Belk’s latest fashions and trends for children and includes games and contests for children.

KidFest attendees will be eligible to enter to win various prizes, including a grand prize weekend getaway trip to Atlanta for a family of four.

Parents with children ages 4-11 who are interested in having them serve as models for the fashion show should contact a Belk store. Each model will receive a 25 percent in-store discount. All other customers will receive a 15 percent off shopping pass to use Saturday in the children’s department.

The events and times at each store will vary. For example, at the Belk store at Macon Mall, the fashion show begins at 1 p.m., and parents should register their children to model by 11:30 a.m. Saturday.

The Belk store at The Shoppes at River Crossing in north Bibb County will hold two fashion shows, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday. Children must be registered by 9 p.m. Friday in order to model Saturday.
