In talking with senior guards Lance Storrs and Moe Miller on Friday afternoon, I found the following quote rather interesting (it's from Storrs):
"That’s one thing me and Moe told the guys (before the Wake Forest game), ‘This is our last road game; we want to get a win.’We just told each other, it’s us in this huddle right now. It’s just us. Everybody in this program that represents men’s basketball, it’s just us. We don’t need to worry about what anybody is saying about us or how they’re feeling about us. As long as we’ve got each other’s backs, I’m happy with that at the end of the day."

Apparently the duo held a huddle with their teammates just before Thursday's game in which they cited the importance of helping them end their Tech careers the best way possible: with a win. Now sure, teams have huddles before each game and the players converse with themselves regularly, but how often do they actually listen to each other? It appears the younger guys did this time.
Miller and Storrs will be honored before Sunday's game as part of the Senior Day festivities. Like the arena they've called home for four years, this will be their final home game.
