Just getting settled at the University Center for the first day of action of the A-Sun basketball tournament.

In the first session, we have a women's game to get us started with ETSU (18-11) facing off with Lipscomb (9-20).

That game will be followed by a men's game between Belmont (27-4) and Kennesaw State (8-22).

The ETSU women beat Lipscomb twice during the regular season, 95-64 and 66-52.

The Belmont men defeated Kennesaw State twice, 87-60 and 88-41. Remember, Kennesaw State was the No. 8 seed last year, just like this year, but the Owls upset top-seeded Lipscomb last year.

Belmont, however, may be as big a favorite as this tournament has seen in years. The Bruins' only conference loss came to Lipscomb.
