Bibb County sheriff’s investigators are looking into an armed robbery that took place Thursday night at XMart, 2025 Emery Highway, a news release said.
According to the release, the gunman entered the store about 10:20 p.m. with a white rag covering his face. The man demanded money from the clerk, then forced the clerk to go back to a storage room.
The gunman fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. He is described as a dark-skinned black male, about 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium-sized afro and a medium build. He was wearing a red baseball cap and a white short-sleeve shirt.
No one was injured during the incident.
