Armed men rob Dodge County bank

Dodge County sheriff’s officials, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the FBI are investigating an armed robbery that took place Thursday morning at the Citizens Bank and Trust Co. in Chauncey.

According to a news release, two armed, masked gunmen accosted a bank employee entering for work to gain entry into the bank.

The suspects later fled the scene, and no one was injured during the robbery.

Investigators aren’t releasing how much, if any, money was taken. The release said investigators are following several leads.
