If you have an old ink jet cartridge, Cheryl Coffman has dibs on it.

Coffman, a volunteer with the animal rescue organization All About Animals, said she has started an ink jet cartridge recycling drive to raise money for the organization.

A bin has been set up at the Kroger on Zebulon Road in Bibb County, or people may call Coffman at 973-4113.

“With this program, we’re killing two birds with one stone — recycling and helping the animals, too,” she said.

All About Animals is trying to find homes for its rescues after the state ordered the group to close its building on Hardeman Avenue this fall.
