By Thursday’s end, four candidates had qualified to become Probate Court judge in Twiggs County.

Chris Bowen, a 51-year-old finance specialist, Alan Faulk, a 34-year-old real estate broker, Pashion Germany, a 53-year-old Probate Court clerk, and Gary Nobles Jr., a 44-year-old insurance salesman, are set to appear on November’s ballot to fill the vacated spot of embattled former Judge Kenneth Fowler, who was removed from the bench in June for judicial misconduct.

Twiggs County election supervisor Marette Fair said qualifying would continue through noon Friday.

“We’ve gotten a lot of interest so far, and it’ll be good to get a final list of candidates,” Fair said.
