Local Little League champions visit the White House

The 2009 Warner Robins American Little League Softball World Series champions visited the White House on Tuesday and met President Barack Obama.

The team flew up to Washington Tuesday morning, met with Obama around 3 p.m., and were expected to return to Middle Georgia Regional Airport Tuesday night.

The 2010 version of the WRALL softball all-stars begins play in the Little League Softball Southeastern Region Tournament on Thursday at 1 p.m. against South Carolina. Five members of the 2009 team are also on this year's team.
