Gunman robs Macon convenience store

A gunman robbed Kwik Trip, 1924 Forsyth St., just before noon Saturday, according to Macon police.

An employee told police a man wearing dark clothing and a hat with an “A” on the front entered the store and displayed a small handgun, according to a police report.

The man demanded that the employee open the register, took cash from the register and left on foot toward Hardeman Avenue, according to the report.
