The Georgia Music Hall of Fame and The Big “O” Youth Educational Dream Foundation announced a partnership with the Berklee College of Music for this year’s third annual Otis Redding Singer/Songwriter Camp.

Instructors from Berklee will travel from its Boston campus to Macon June 21-25 to teach campers how to use an online program that is part of the Berklee City Music Network.

The program is a real-time, Web-based program in which students learn music theory and ear training by playing and analyzing various genres of music.

The camp is open for students ages 12-17 to learn the fundamentals of songwriting.

Other musicians participating include Gwen Hughes, Mike Hinton, Lefty Williams, Caroline Aiken, Charlie Wooton and Rafael Pereira.

Local musicians serving as counselors include Jared Wright, Heather Kemp and Floco Torres.
