A fugitive task force detained a Milledgeville man wanted on murder charges Thursday night in Atlanta.

Milledgeville police arrested Alanzo Andre Roberton, 32, at the Atlanta airport and charged him with murder, Police Chief Woodrow Blue said Friday.

Robertson is suspected in the death of Jaquanna Freeman, 25, who was shot to death March 8 at 130 Pennington Road near downtown Milledgeville.

Blue said Freeman was shot with a 9mm handgun, and he said that investigators believe they have the murder weapon. Blue said the shooting was domestic-related.

A relative found Freeman’s body that afternoon.
