Milledgeville woman shot to death

A 25-year-old Milledgeville woman was shot to death Monday, and authorities have a person of interest in the case.

Jaquanna Freeman was slain about 2:30 p.m., said Baldwin County Chief Deputy Coroner Ken Garland.

A relative found Freeman at the scene of the shooting, at 130 Pennington Road, southeast of downtown Milledgeville.

Milledgeville police are looking for Alonzo Andre Roberson, a black male who is about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds, said Dray Swicord, the department’s chief of detectives. Roberson has black hair and brown eyes. He was driving a gray 1999 Nissan Pathfinder, tag number BWC6631.
