Three gunshots were fired at a Macon teenager Friday night as he drove near the intersection of Pio Nono Avenue and Rice Mill Road, Macon police said.

The 17-year-old boy told police he turned onto Rice Mill Road from Pio Nono Avenue between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. and saw a small green vehicle parked on the side of the road with four people inside, according to a police report.

As the teenager drove around the green vehicle, he said he heard three gunshots. One bullet hit the passenger door. A second shot hit the rear window and exited through the front windshield, according to the report.

The teenager was not injured.
