The Crossroads Writers Conference, scheduled for Feb. 27 at Mercer University, announced a contest to award up to 40 scholarships to the conference.
The scholarships provide admission to the full day’s panels, workshops, readings and roundtable discussions as well as breakfast, lunch and a keepsake tote bag.
Interested nonprofessional writers are urged to submit one sample of their writing in a Microsoft Word document to scholarship@crossroadscon.org by 5 p.m. Feb. 17. They must include their full name, address, e-mail address, phone number and the title of the submission. Recipients will be notified by e-mail no later than Feb. 20. The conference is limited to people 16 years old and older.
